THE JOKER

" Why so serious? Why so serious? Let's put a SMILE on that face!"....welcome to a new brand of
villains ....." the world deserves a better class of criminals " and Joker definately gave us one ......for once a superhero movie didn't actually turn out to be one of conventional types . The Dark Knight certainly exceeded the expectations I had with it ( it's a different point that I had few ) ....It was Heath all the way ....right from the start where he kills everybody while robbing the bank ....to making the pencil disappear ....... then the way he clapped when he heard Gordon has been promoted(the look on his face was amazing ) ......the way he walks out of the hospital while blowing it ...... beating batman up with a stick to standing right in front of batman and saying "hit me " .....Let's be honest with it ...for once the superhero flick looked realistic atleast by the content of it .....You put both spiderman and superman in front of this one and they both will get their asses kicked ( on a second thaught their asses is not even worth it so let's forget about them ) ....the point still remains the same ....this was different ......atleast as I interpratated it ....the joker won( the only other movie I remember currently where the villain actually succeded is "se7en ") ....Not even once in the movie the batman outscored the Joker ( thaught he didn't even open his account but that's far fetched so let's stick to the previous line ) ....As Harvey Dent said you can't be descent in an indescent world ...in such a world morality doesn't exist , everything should be left to chance ...coz it's the only thing that's fair ...no prejudices no cheating ...just chance . Joker was their to prove his point and he did ..." You got to find the ace in the whole " which he did ...Harvey Dent ...the hero of Gotham ..even he fell for it ....Why be good anyway? The lengthy (actually was praying the film not to end )Dark Knight is dripping with moral musings and conundrums worthy of an ethics thesis . You had every ethical crisis here ....whether it was Batman's decision to save Harvey instead of Rachel or ......batman's willingness to turn himself in ,in order to save the killings or Harvey's act of surrendering was just a heroic act or he did what was needed to be done ...Why did Wayne did not say anything when Harvey surrendered ....Gordon decision to show the good side of the dead ,two faced Harvey or the little boy's question in the last to his father "but the Batman did nothing wrong".....everything rang a bell in my mind ....Should we really pay the price for somebody else's doing or be like them .....Well hat's off to Heath for carrying out the role so wonderfully well ..... may he teach a lesson up there too ...so that even God get's the taste of the real world .....In the end would just like to pen down some of my favorite dialogues of Joker

Something that needs to be understood

Rationality is the only concept on which this world could survive . You can never have fairer distribution of wealth because it's not rational . A man's wealth is a direct consequence to it's ability . I take wealth as the materialistic depiction of happiness . You allow people to predate on other man's ability without efforts of his own and there in you sow the seeds of failure of the whole system of peaceful co - existence . Rationally speaking if you yourself are not ready to sacrifice for others at the cost of your own wealth how could you expect other people to ,do the same for you in the name of social responsibility .Responsibility is one word which I hate to use with the world social . What in God's name do you mean when you say a rich man is socially responsible for the upliftment of poor people. How could you possibly justify this . The minute a person uses the word responsibility . as his escape goat to sail away on the concept that a person has to pay because of his failure to remain in the same level as incapable people . The very moment he is expected to give the so called ability tax , that very moment people blew away their only chance to make a progressive world . The world needs consistency to survive . For this there should be atleast something you need to keep constant , and that something should be a product of various human variables . According to me the constant should be rationality and rest all variables must be varied in such a way so that at all times it remains unchanged ............HOPING FOR A BETTER FUTURE.
